Fear of Commitment and Loving Again

Life Coaching for people with confidence or self-esteem issues is extremely valuable in addressing this following question. Women tend to suffer the most from trust, sense of abandonment and lack of feelings of being worthy issues. Life Coach Advice for Women is one solution to solve this problem in relationship coaching. Anita asks: “Are some of us just meant to be lonely forever”? Anita, considering the fact that you responded to the survey concerning love and the Law of Attraction, I am going to assume you’ve thinking about creating a relationship.

As long as you know you are deciding that instead of giving up out of frustration that you have not created the love of a lifetime. You can have everything in a relationship and in life.

If you could see yourself from the perspective of Source or your Inner Being, or the Universe, you’d see a beautiful, fantastic, brilliant, connected consciousness. Then life begins to occur around us. Our oblivious parents, teachers, and elders, in an attempt to guide us, teach us from birth what to watch out for, stop us, caution us, and attempt to shelter us, effectively having us adhere to their fear and projections of insecurity rather than tuning in to our own guidance systems. OK, I’ll give you as brand new creatures we do require support. Fine. But soon following they understand to eat by themselves, self-empowerment needs to be part of the training for the small children.

Well-meaning adults want to do the right thing so they teach, hold back, admonish, and instil fear in young ones to make them behave. This only creates an underlying insecurity and inability. The feeling of not-enoughness gets engraved at an early age.

Neurological research now explains to us that before the age of 7, we are so open and receptive, we have no filtering ability at all. We walk around in a sort of hypnagogic trance and become impressed with whatever happens to enter our life experience. It is not a wonder we have deeply ingrained, although misplaced, beliefs about a flawed nature. By the time we are 6 years old, we’ve listened to the word “NO” approximately 60,000 times. Watch out for that, that could hurt you, be careful, do not do that. The recurring communication says you’re unworthy, you cannot trust you, you don’t understand what you’re doing, and so on.

Our parents and elders were indeed well-meaning. They simply intended for our well-being. But you can see how easily we have been whisked away from our inherent beauty and brilliance.

I recommend that you go easy on yourself and give yourself a chance. First off, it’s not your fault. It is not even the fault of your elders. They were taught the same way as well. You can end this prevalence of low self-esteem on yourself and those you care about. You deserve to have everything your heart wants.

Do your very best to express yourself appreciation and self-acceptance. Adhere to yourself as you would a beloved child. Forgive her for her shortcomings. The truth is, the Universe appreciates, Spirit adores you, and your Inner Being
adores you. Why? Because you ARE adorable. And that IS the truth!

Authors as Entrepreneurs

There’s something about being an author and wanting to share your message with the world that drives ordinary people to be extraordinary.

Authors are people, with a rich life history and experience.  In a way, they share a similarity with people who graduate from college with an Arts degree, or a degree in History.  They go out in the world and are faced with “doing business” or “getting a job.”  People ask them, “what color is your parachute?”  And they look up and say, “what parachute?”

Higher Education?

So, most people get an MBA - Master of Business Administration - degree.  What’s that?  Well, for a couple of years, you study some very general courses in accounting, business law, finance, and other related general business subjects.  Then, you know what your doing?  Right?

NOT.  Then, you go try to get a job and people see you’ve now got some some new tools in your toolbox with which to begin to apply to their business - maybe, if you get the job!  Now you’ll get an interview, and if you are lucky, you’ll get into an entry level job where you can now learn “the business.”

That’s right, an MBA is just a tool set. In the 80’s, there was a brief flirtation with the idea that an MBA from a prestigious school, say, Harvard or Duke, could be handed the reins of a business as CEO and they would save the day.  This turned out to be a disaster and boards or directors and business owners realized that knowing business was one thing, but knowing “their business,” was essential.

So, how does this impact our inspired and passionate Author?  Well, “the business” of “Best Selling Author” is quite different from the business of “writing.”  People can write all day long and not achieve success as an author.  It often mystifies writers that after their book is in print, people are not lining up to buy it.  They put their books on Lulu or some other self-publishing printer, they pay money, their book is “available” and can be purchased.  They sit back and … wait.  And wait….

The statistics on this phenomenon are staggering.  That first run of 3000 books that is now sitting against your dining room wall is still there?  What’s going on?

What’s going on is that the writer has not created a business designed to create an “Best Selling Author.”  Why not?  Because they don’t know “the business.”

Getting Down to Business

Now, this may sound very plain and simple.  But it’s a very practical problem.  Being a successful author is a business unto itself.  Being published is NOT enough.  Your publisher will want you to go sell your book.  How will you do that?  And it’s the same problem with any business.

There’s a kind of person called an Entrepreneur who has a certain skill set and personality type.  They have gone through the process, or would like to, of creating a business.  The usually start with a business plan.  That’s another thing they don’t always teach MBA students - it’s too often left as a exercise for those interested in doing that sort of thing.  Otherwise, it’s assumed your going to send your resume around and get a job.

Entrepreneurs create jobs and paychecks for themselves and others.  They have an idea and they create a plan (validating the idea in the process), and then figure out how to execute the plan.   Writers who want to be Authors face the same challenge: Idea(book), Plan, Implementation.  Writers have the first essential part of the business - inspiration and an idea resulting in a book.

We have the second and third part of the process.  We teach you and work with you on your plan, which you can then implement yourself, or we can discuss implementing the plan for you.

Create & Attract Education

What do you do when you want to publish a course? Do you a) just email it to people? b) put it in a book and sell another book? or, c) Start an online university learning center for your readers and author/teachers?

Answer: C.

Yep, you start your own university!  I know, it sounds crazy on the face of it, but when you think about it, what better way to support your authors in delivering dozens and hundreds of courses to people who want to learn from them?

When you look at it like that, it wasn’t so crazy after all!  OK then, let’s do it!  A University!  Indeed!

And lo and behold, here it is:  Create & Attract Lifelong Learning Center. This is the place and the learning center is delivering Nanette Geiger’s Companion Course to her best selling book, Create the Love of Your Dreams!

The learning center is a very cool place, really.  It has all the components of a real university.  Enrollment, Courses, Students, Teachers, Schedules and Syllabi, Assignments and Grading (if needed!), Discussion Groups, Detention…!  Just kidding about the detention.

It’s really a wonderful place!
